Server information completes the inventory
As previously announced we added the integration towards HP:s Insight Manager, which has made it possible to gather server information as a compliment to our inventory information. One example of a customer based solution is the gathering of information from OpenVMS based server system.

Tuned inventory agents
We constantly working with improvements in QDC, and in the pipeline next is to integrate with other manufactures of solutions in Blade and virtualization. Our other inventory agents for Windows, Unix/Linux and Mac have been improved after requests from our customer. Among other things we now collect information about IIS, that information is made available as a basis for Application dependency mapping.
Improved performance
The agent for Software metering has been rewritten from C# to C++. The result is better performance, but also to avoid making exceptions in the .NET Security Framework. This facilitates the roll out of the QSM agent to your clients.
