Comprehensive scope a winner
Qondoc’s comprehensive scope convinced the Imego’s IT Coordinator Niclas Perez to choose the Göteborg-based company’s solution for IT inventory and IT documentation. “All the features I was looking for were available in the Qondoc package; both the inventory tool connected to a CMDB database and an interface that is easy to use,” Niclas Perez explains.
Improved overview
He expects the Qondoc to simplify the administration of our inventory and provide a better overview of the computers, printers and servers on site as well as any software installed. Hardware and software will be more closely monitored in the future: “This will make it easier for us to plan our purchases, but it will also create a record of what we don’t use, but still pay for. Qondoc will simplify my job as an administrator,” Niclas Perez reports.
Less vulnerable with Qondoc
Yet another positive resource supplied by the Qondoc application is that data management can be made user-independent. “New staff members won’t have any trouble accessing and using the collected data in the event that I, or any other member of the IT department, should leave. This makes the administration process less vulnerable.”
