”We purchased Qondoc to gain an overview of our network handling,” says Elisabeth Röjgren. “We wanted to see how the switches were connected and the computers were configured, but we found Qondoc more useful than we had anticipated. We connected Qondoc to our helpdesk, and it immediately became a very important support tool. When a problem arises, the support immediately sees which unit is failing and where it is located. We also see the unit’s support history and can provide the server team with exact information,” says Elisabeth. “Before, printed manuals always lay by each printer. This no longer happens, and it was a growing problem, but the service engineers now reach Qondoc via all local authority computers, and we can enter all manuals there. Easy and practical.”

Values the advanced search

Elisabeth values the advanced search. Whatever it is they want to know, they receive a “response in no time, just have to press a couple of keys”. Elisabeth clarifies that “If we are to upgrade all computers to 250 MB RAM memory, we can easily find out which computers don’t have that, and tell the server team. I also value the fact that you can limit the search to a geographical area. I see the exact building and the room in which a computer is located. This saves you a lot of time.”
