After one month of testing the CHiP Helpdesk the system was bought by the fast growing company Moderna Försäkringar. “It is quite exciting that Moderna Försäkringar is already working with the helpdesk system. Things have been going this fast as the system is intuitive and simple to work with. Furthermore, Moderna Försäkringar has been working with a test installation for about a month to try out the system; that gave them a good start. When the deal was done, the system went online so that they could continue their work without interruption”, says our sales representative Peter Haddäng.
Integrated with Qondoc Application
Jesper Ekberg is responsible for the IT and operation at Moderna Försäkringar. “As the CHiP is integrated with Qondoc Application we can link registration information on a certain computer with an event registered in CHiP Helpdesk. Each time we log on to the network, the registration agent collects information for us and also records serial numbers and product numbers which is important information to us. When the computer is fully registered we can see which gate and which switch it is on”, he explains.
The hub of the company support system
There is another very good point about CHiP. Moderna Försäkringar has the monitoring system Appmanager from which CHiP Helpdesk collects warnings and alarms if a server is down or anything else is wrong with the network. The personnel is notified of this directly in CHiP. “CHiP is the hub of Moderna Försäkringar’s two support systems, Qondoc Application and AppManager”, says Peter Haddäng.
The company group Moderna Försäkringar comprises Moderna Försäkringar Sak, Moderna Försäkringar Liv, Atlantica and Bilsport & MC. The group has approx. 250 employees, is owned by Invik & Co and is part of the Stenbeck sphere. 2006 was the best year ever in the history of the company group.
