In competition with several major players, Astra Tech chose Qondoc Application. “Many other solutions we have investigated are very heavy and complex, and there are many functions we don’t need for the time being. Qondoc hits the mark within this area, where we are facing great challenges,” says Johan Mattsson.

Changes require automatisation

“The authorities, e.g. the American FDA (Federal Drug Administration) and the Swedish Medical Products Agency, emphasize the importance of keeping the documentation on our technical environments up to date. In our position, with rapid growth and continuous development, this would be difficult to handle manually," says Johan Mattsson.

Documentation and logging

Therefore, Astra Tech has looked for a product with a high level of automation which at the same time is relatively easy to manage and which gathers everything concerning documentation and logging in the IT environments. “We have been looking for a tool which can automate at least some parts of our comprehensive documentation process. This is the main reason for choosing Qondoc,” says Johan Mattsson.
