Qondoc -
Qondoc has passed the admission test on the requirements for server and network documentation laid down by Södertörn University College and is now taking the next step into the development stage. The university college school will be documenting its servers with our tool Qondoc Application.
First university collegeIt is always something special when we start working with a new client; however, it is particularly exciting when we are going to walk hand in hand into a new field like we are doing now. Södertörn University College is our first client from the university sphere. “Qondoc lives up to our wishes very well by documenting servers, network and also applications,” states Jimmy Engman, responsible for IT in the development group at the Södertörn University College.
Graphic overview
According to Jimmy Engman, the university college needs to improve its documentation of the servers and will create a graphic image of the network interconnection of these servers. “We hope to get a good overview of which systems and applications are on which servers and their mutual relations,” he says.
Will wait and see how the network is affected
“To determine whether we need to install a server or a network node you will have to access Qondoc and see which systems and applications will be affected by a reinstallation process. The first step is to start the data acquisition that Qondoc Application undertakes automatically,” says Jimmy Engman.
