Seek and you will find. Anders Fredriksson, IT strategist in Heby and Knivsta Municipalities, chose Qondoc Infrastructure for improved IT documentation and a better overview of the physical IT infrastructure and links between systems.
Since December 2007, Fredriksson has been head of IT development in both Knivsta and Heby Municipalities. This collaboration between the two municipalities is the first step in an initiative to upgrade the tools for IT documentation and IT inventory in Heby Municipality.
“I quickly realised that I needed a good skeleton for our IT infrastructure and the links between the systems,” he says. “There are many levels in our IT environment that need documenting, and I know that Qondoc is one of the only suppliers on the market offering these functions.”
Fredriksson’s work includes market analysis and relations with suppliers for both the municipalities. He has been familiar with our products and working methods for several years. “Qondoc has performed strongly and meets its customers’ IT requirements. This shows that Qondoc is sensitive to our needs,” he says.
Continues Fredriksson: “We’ll start by documenting and making an inventory of our IT infrastructure. Then we’ll continue working on the links between systems. We intend to intensify the technical collaboration between the two municipalities, and Qondoc will play a key role in this process.”
